CasaCor SP 2022

The SERtão, showcased at CASACOR São Paulo 2022 in collaboration with Portinari, transforms the arid landscape of the Brazilian hinterland into a poetic space. Spanning 250 m², the golden light, dry fibers, charred wood, and handcrafted furniture evoke the beauty of rural life, a recurring theme in the architect's journey. The name, merging “ser” and “sertão,” encapsulates the concept: an environment centered on identity and belonging, where aridity transforms into warmth and tradition meets contemporary design, free from stereotypes.
